Monthly TBR: July Reads and Digging Into That Novel

Welcome to the second half of 2022! I’m so excited for the warmer weather and the family get-togethers that are inevitable in the upcoming summer. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen most of my family (like most of us), and it’ll be fun!

Now that June is finally over, I’m jumping headlong into my plan for getting caught up on my reading and reviews. My TBR for this month will allow me to get caught up on July reviews and get some of the August reviews done as well. So, this month I’m going to try and read:

–        Dream On by Angie Hockman (S&S)

–        Reputation by Sarah Vaughan (S&S)

–        Cold, Cold Bones by Kathy Reichs (S&S)

–        The It Girl by Ruth Ware (S&S)

–        Blood Like Magic by Liselle Sambury

–        Blood Like Fate by Liselle Sambury (S&S)

–        The Dating Plan by Sara Desai (BCR)

–        Realm Breaker by Victoria Aveyard

–        Blade Breaker by Victoria Aveyard

–        Tower of Dawn by Sarah J. Maas

–        Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas

–        The White Hare by Jane Johnson (S&S)

–        A Wilderness of Stars by Shea Ernshaw (S&S)

My most anticipated books for this month are The White Hare and A Wilderness of Stars, which ironically aren’t books that I have to read this month. Therefore, I’ve set them up to be the goal: I need to read everything else on this list before I can get to them. Thank you to Simon&Schuster Canada for the ARCs of The White Hare and A Wilderness of Stars!

I would like to write at least 10 scenes this month. I’ve already started by planning out some of the important scenes to write. I’m keeping in mind one major thing: I am better at rewriting and editing than drafting. The sooner I get this silly draft done, the sooner I can make it better! Getting ahead on blog posts/reviews is the key to having enough time to write.

My social media goals are to post every day. I don’t know if I’ll be able to keep up, but I’m hoping to prep multiple posts a day and keep ahead on them. I’ve got a variety of posts planned, so my Facebook and Instagram feeds will be more exciting than just review notifications.

Without further ado, I’ve got to get reading! Thanks for tuning in!
